Mondo Macabro has released more details on their upcoming Limited Edition Blu-ray release for Marijan Vajda's BloodLust. Check out the list of features and cover art below.
In the film, "A deaf and dumb accountant suffers from a psychic trauma in his childhood. He is collecting puppets and mutilates female bodies in the mortuary. After his secret love died by an accident he starts to kill."
The region-free disc will include:
A new HD restoration of the film from the original negative
English and German language tracks, with optional English subtitles.
Brand new interview with the film's assistant director (and son of the director himself) Marijan David Vajda
Brand new interview with actress Birgit Zamulo

The red case edition will be limited to only 500 copies, and will feature an exclusive cover, a 12 page booklet written by Michael Gingold with lots of fascinating information about the film and how it came to be made, and 14 full color, postcard sized reproductions of lobby cards, posters and promo materials.
This release will go on sale Friday, July 27th at 9 am Pacific Time/12 pm Eastern Time. Shipping will begin around early September, or hopefully a little bit sooner. A standard retail edition will follow this LE sometime later in the summer or early in the fall.
