Back in January, the first teaser for Slender Man was released. Looking like a complete rip-off of The Ring, I was not impressed at all. Today, the first official trailer has been revealed by Screen Gems and I must say that it's a vast improvement. Check it out a let us know what you think in the comments!
"In a small town in Massachusetts, four high school girls perform a ritual in an attempt to debunk the lore of SLENDER MAN. When one of the girls goes mysteriously missing, they begin to suspect that she is, in fact, HIS latest victim."
The film is written by David Birke and directed by Sylvain White, based on the character created by Victor Surge. Bradley J. Fischer, James Vanderbilt, William Sherak, Robyn Meisinger and Sarah Snow produced. Slender Man stars
Joey King, Julia Goldani Telles, Jaz Sinclair, Annalise Basso, and creature performer Javier Botet as Slender Man himself.
The film releases in theaters on August 10th.
