A handful of horror classics are getting the 4K Ultra HD treatment, including Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2 and Halloween. We now have news that Ridley Scott's sci-fi horror classic Alien will be joining them...possibly!
Czech retailer FilmArena has posted numerous listings for various Alien 4K editions, to be released on April 26th 2019, Alien Day. Other Alien 4K listings include Lenticular, 3D, Steelbook versions and an “Alien Maniacs” Collector’s Box including all the different versions of the film.
Again, this isn’t officially confirmed, but with the film celebrating its 40th anniversary next year, we say that it's highly possible these releases are legit.
