It's sad to think that we won't be getting a new season of "Stranger Things" for nearly a year. The third season is set to premiere next Summer, but we're certain it will be worth the wait! The upcoming season will be darker and more action packed than the previous two. Producer Shawn Levy recently revealed more details in an interview with The Playlist.
"There’s no question that, as you saw in that [recent teaser] infomercial, Starcourt Mall is a part of season 3. As is summertime. So season 3 has a really healthy dose of poppy, bright levity and cultural fun,” said Levy. “But I can only promise you that season 3 eventually goes places that are darker, and unquestionably more action-packed, than we’ve ever gone before.” Levy added, “It would be a mistake for anyone to think that season 3 is the summer of fun and lightness because it’s a whole lot more than that.”
