I can't even imagine a world with PG-13 Predator films and luckily, neither can director Shane Black.
“PG-13 is for pussies. Spines bleed… a lot," Black tweeted last year.
And it looks like he's a man of his word, Fox will be releasing The Predator into theaters with an "R" rating for “Strong bloody violence, language throughout, and crude sexual references.”
Let the spine ripping begin on September 14th, 2018.
"From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.”
Directed by Shane Black from a screenplay he co-wrote with Fred Dekker (The Monster Squad), The Predator stars Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Olivia Munn, Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Thomas Jane, Augusto Aguilera, Edward James Olmos, Alfie Allen and Yvonne Strahovski.
Jake Busey plays the son of Gary Busey’s Predator 2 character.
