The first teaser trailer has debuted for the indie film, Freaks, which will be premiering at the Toronto Film Festival in September. The teaser doesn't reveal much about the film but the synopsis (below) gives a little insight on what to expect.
"In this inventive and powerful science-fiction thriller, a disturbed father (Emile Hirsch) locks his 7-year-old daughter (Lexy Kolker) in a house, warning her of grave dangers outside. But the mysterious Mr. Snowcone (Bruce Dern) convinces the girl to escape and join him on a quest for family, freedom, and revenge."
Freaks is written and directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein. The film also stars Grace Park and Amanda Crew.
Freaks will have its world premiere at TIFF on Saturday, September 8th, times are listed below.
