Fandango has announced that advance tickets are on sale this morning for David Gordon Green’s Halloween sequel, opening October 19th. According to a Fandango survey of more than 1,000 moviegoers last month, Halloween was voted the single most anticipated horror movie of the fall season. (The Predator and The Nun were #2 and #3 most anticipated fall horror flicks on the Fandango list.)
Fans who pre-order tickets on Fandango will receive a free audio download of the iconic "Halloween Theme" from the Halloween Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter, and Daniel Davies (full soundtrack available October 19th on Sacred Bones Records).
“Halloween has everything you could want in a horror flick, as it’s absolutely frightening with a tinge of the dark humor you’d expect from director David Gordon Green,” says Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis. “There’s good reason why it’s the most anticipated horror movie of the fall: it’s a direct sequel to the original film four decades later and featuring the original star, Jamie Lee Curtis, the original Michael Myers, Nick Castle, and the original director, John Carpenter, returning as the composer.”
