She freaked us right out in V/H/S as well as last year’s SiREN, and now rising horror star Hannah Fierman toplines the cast of amusingly-named, retro-styled horror anthology Dead by Midnight (11pm Central). The film will be released on October 31st and horror fans can watch at you42.com, as well as on the You42 YouTube Channel.
Dead by Midnight presents six stories, each a blend of horror, comedy and suspense. The first episode, “Dead Air,” stars cult movie icon Erin Brown as the Mistress of Midnight, and Hannah Fierman as TV producer Candice Spelling. The second segment, “Jersey Devil,” was written by and stars Davi Crimmins, co-host of The Bert Show, a nationally syndicated morning radio show.
The remaining four episodes, “Day Three,” “Lost Laundry,” “Creepy Dolls” and “Blind Side,” will be released on the You42 platform in the coming weeks. To sign up, just head to You42.com.
“Dead Air” Synopsis
It’s Halloween at WKIZ when the malicious Mistress of Midnight arrives to host her annual horror movie marathon, Dead by Midnight. When the WKIZ staff begins disappearing only to turn up in the increasingly darker films, it’s up to line producer Candice Spelling to stop the Mistress of Midnight before her final and most diabolical film goes to air.
“Jersey Devil” Synopsis
Police believe a serial killer is stalking women in the remote area of New Jersey known as the Pine Barrens. Local waitress Dani discovers that the truth is something far worse.
Starring alongside Fierman is Erin Brown (Masters of Horror: Sick Girl) Anissa Matlock, Davi Crimmins (Atlanta's Q100 The Bert Show) and SiREN’s Michael Aaron Milligan also feature.
