Gravitas Ventures have released an all-new trailer for American Exorcist, a Christmas Eve horror movie produced by slasher legend Bill Moseley (House of 1000 Corpses, Repo! The Genetic Opera, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2).
In the film, Christmas always seems to bring bad luck to the American Building. After a century of tragic accidents and unexplainable deaths, the infamous skyscraper is reportedly haunted. Georgette Dubois (Falon Joslyn) is a professional skeptic hired by Management (Bill Moseley) to debunk those urban legends. She’s a scientist, meticulously searching for something to believe in. Her every encounter with the supernatural appears to have a rational explanation. None of that experience as a paranormal investigator prepared her to be trapped high above the city with genuinely ghoulish horrors. Instead, Georgette must reconnect with her spiritual roots if she hopes to survive.
American Exorcist was shot on location in Philadelphia at the historic Inquirer Headquarters. The now abandoned high rise doubles as the equally old and decrepit American Building; a haunted office complex burdened by 100 years of bad luck and mysterious deaths.
Co- Directors Tony Trov and Johnny Zito are life long friends who began their careers writing horror books for DC Entertainment (La Morte Sisters) and Image Comics. (D.O.G.S. of Mars)
“Our second feature is a love letter to Dario Argento and Lucio Fulci,” explains Tony Trov.
“We’re really excited to show off our work with Bill Moseley and Falon Joslyn. This was a real collaborative effort,” continues Johnny Zito.
American Exorcist is to be released world wide October 26th on Amazon, iTunes, DVD and Blu-ray through Gravitas Ventures. Visit the Official Website for more details.
