Japanese Zombie Film 'One Cut Of The Dead' Hits UK Cinemas In January

One Cut of the Dead

Following its screening at Fantasia Film Fest, the record-breaking Japanese zombie film, One Cut of the Dead is opening in UK cinemas in January.

You can catch the film at the following locations beginning January 4th, 2019:

  • THE PRINCE CHARLES CINEMA, LONDON

  • BROADWAY CINEMA, NOTTINGHAM

  • GLASGOW FILM THEATRE

  • CHAPTER, CARDIFF

  • CUBE, BRISTOL

  • QUAD CINEMA, DERBY

  • DEPTFORD CINEMA, LONDON

"A low-budget zombie movie shot in one take, about a film crew shooting a low budget zombie movie in one take, sounds bad. Add the fact that the indie film crew stumbles across real-life zombies, and One Cut of the Dead sounds worse. But this isn’t just a zombie movie, or even a one-take stunt. Instead, it’s Japan’s smartest comedy of the year, a father-daughter story, a movie about the value of perservance, and a meta-puzzle box that unpacks itself onscreen, one severed limb at a time."

We currently have no news regarding a U.S. release but we suspect the announcement is coming soon. You can watch the international trailer below.
