We've been hearing and seeing Steven Kostanski's Leprechaun Returns get a lot of trash comments around the web, with the biggest reason being that Warwick Davis isn't returning as the titular character. Davis has been replaced by Linden Porco and honestly, this writer thinks he looks amazing and couldn't be more excited to see this direct sequel to the first film!
Today, Collider has released a brand new look at your new Leprechaun (seen above).
In the film that arrives on Digital and On Demand December 11th from Lionsgate...
"The deadly, wisecracking Leprechaun is back in all his gory glory. When the sorority sisters of the Alpha Upsilon house decide to go green and use an old well as their water source, they unwittingly awaken a pint-sized, green-clad monster. The Leprechaun wants a pot of gold buried near the sorority house, but first he must recover his powers with a killing spree—and only the girls of AU can stop him."
Leprechaun Returns also stars Taylor Spreitler (Amityville: The Awakening), and Mark Holton, who returns to the series for the first time since the original 1993 film as Ozzie.
