Nicolas Cage Says 'Prisoners Of The Ghostland' May Be The Wildest Movie He's Ever Made

Nicolas Cage Prisoners of the Ghostland

Nicolas Cage has starred in some pretty wild flicks over the years, including this year's Mom and Dad and Mandy (read our review), so you can bet you're ass when he say he's just made his wildest, we're all in! This past weekend at the 3rd International Film Festival and Awards Macao, Cage hyped that his upcoming film is possibly his wildest yet!

Screen Anarchy relayed Cage's statement hyping up Sion Sono's (Cold Fish, Why Don’t You Play in Hell?) English-language debut, Prisoners of the Ghostland.

“I’m thrilled about it! It’s unlike anything I’ve ever read before. It might be the wildest movie I’ve ever made, and that’s saying something,” said Cage. “It’s out there. I wear a skintight black leather jumpsuit with grenades attached to different body parts, and if I don’t rescue the governor’s daughter from this state line where they’re all ghosts and bring her back they’re gonna blow me up.”

“It’s just crazy. It’s way out there,” he added.

Sono is no stranger to insane films, so we're very much looking forward to his new feature, described as a supernatural action-thriller.
