Cassandra Peterson, more commonly known as Elvira, teased some very exciting things during a recent Instagram Q&A. Horror fans have been wanting a sequel to Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, which was recently given a 30th Anniversary Blu-ray by Arrow Video, since 1988 and Peterson has revealed that the film could finally be happening!
"I'm giving this some serious thought," Peterson said when asked about the sequel. "A LOT of people ask this question, so I'm thinking one more... we'll see!"
She also mentioned that Elvira's Movie Macabre could be making its way to Netflix! When asked about the series coming to the streaming platform, Peterson simply said, "I'm working on it!" along with a "fingers crossed" emoji.
Elvira's fan base has been very consistent over the years and with the current resurgence regarding all things horror, 2019 may turn out to be a huge year for the Mistress of the Dark!
