As lovers of over-the-top Asian action films, we thoroughly enjoyed Jung Byung-gil's The Villainess upon its release in 2017. So, it brings us great excitement to report the film is soon to be adapted for the small screen by Robert Kirkman's Skybound Entertainment!
“The Villainess follows Anes, who was kidnapped from her home in Korea and raised as a deadly assassin in Los Angeles. Just when Anes believes she has found true peace, unsettling events drive her to return to Korea to uncover dangerous truths about her home and her past.”
Deadline reports, Byung-gil will be directing the series pilot. Skybound and Contents Panda are currently seeking a writer.
