After wrapping up filming and completing a summer tour with Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie returned home to finish editing Three From Hell, the third film in the Firefly family's saga, which continues the House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects storyline. Last night, Zombie posted to social media to announced the completion of the film that sees the return of Sheri Moon Zombie, Bill Moseley and Sid Haig. He also mentioned the completion of the series, so this may *actually* be the end of the franchise.
Bill Moseley recently sat down with Rue Morgue and stated that the film will satisfy fans of the previous film's will not be disappointed.
“All of the people who loved House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects are going to have a luau of excitement and happiness when they see Three From Hell,” Moseley tells Rue Morgue. “It’s going to be a crowdpleaser. From what I’ve heard from Rob, he’s very happy and excited about what he’s got, and it’s chockablock with gratuitous violence [laughs], which is great, because lately there have been a lot of good horror movies that just don’t have a lot of that"
The film also stars Richard Brake, Danny Trejo, Clint Howard, Daniel Roebuck, David Ury, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Sean Whalen, Kevin Jackson, Austin Stoker, Dee Wallace, Bill Oberst Jr., Richard Riehle, Dot-Marie Jones and Tom Papa.
Three From Hell has been confirmed to release in 2019. So stay tuned for a release date announcement!
