As we told you last month, Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz director Edgar Wright‘s next film is said to be “a straight up psychological horror-thriller,” which will be set and London and feature a female lead. And thanks to Variety, we now know that female lead will be Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch, Split, Glass) and be title Last Night in Soho.
Wright co-wrote the film with Krysty Wilson-Cairns (“Penny Dreadful”).
We know that the film is set in London’s Soho district, but not much more than that in terms of plot details.
Variety adds that "production is expected to start this summer in London.”
