Ruby Rose To Star In Ryuhei Kitamura's 'Doorman'

John Wick 2 and The Meg star Ruby Rose, who will also play the newest Batwoman, is set to star in Ryuhei Kitamura's action-thriller Doorman.

You may know Japanese director Ryuhei Kitamura for his brutal horror films Versus, Alive, The Midnight Meat Train, No One Lives and last year's Downrange (read our review), which is exclusively streaming on Shudder.

Doorman tells the story of an officer in the Marines who becomes traumatized while serving her country and returns home looking for an opportunity to heal. She seeks refuge as a doorman at a labyrinthine, historic, New York apartment building but discovers that mercenaries are intent on destroying everything in their way to retrieve precious art hidden in the building walls.”

Rose also appeared in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter and xXx: Return of Xander Cage.

Lior Chefetz, Joe Swanson and Harry Winer will write the script from a story by Greg Williams and Matt McAllester.

Doorman is expected to begin production in April 2019.
