Ring 20th Anniversary UK Screenings And Hi-Res Images From New Restoration

Ring 4K Restoration UK Screenings

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Ring (aka Ringu), a special restoration of the film will be showing at 100+ cinemas across the UK including the Prince Charles Cinema (February 21st), and Vue, Odeon, Cineworld and Showcase Cinemas from March 1st, 2019, and we also got our hands on some hi-resolution images from Arrow Video's new 4K restoration.

There’s no better way to relive this influential horror, or experience it for the first time, than with this big screen celebration! Persuading someone else to watch is the only way to escape Sadako’s curse, so why not enjoy a horror-filled night out in good company?

In the film, "A group of teenage friends is found dead, their bodies grotesquely contorted, their faces twisted in terror. Reiko (Nanako Matsushima), a journalist and the aunt of one of the victims, set out to investigate the shocking phenomenon, and in the process uncovers a creepy urban legend about a supposedly cursed videotape, the contents of which causes anyone who views it to die within a week – unless they can persuade someone else to watch it, and, in so doing, pass on the curse…."

For a full list of showtimes, check out the official Ring website.

Arrow will release Ring on Digital, DVD, Blu-ray, Limited Edition Steelbook, and Limited Edition Collection featuring Ring, Ring 2, Ring 0 and Spiral on March 18th, 2019.
