Premiering at last year's SXSW Film Festival, horror anthology The Field Guide to Evil features segments from Austria, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Poland, Turkey, and the U.S., and today we've learned that Neon will be releasing the film on March 29th, 2019.
"The film focuses on dark folklore. Created to give logic to mankind’s darkest fears, these stories and others laid the foundation for what we now call the horror genre."
The Field Guide to Evil contributing directors include Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala (Goodnight Mommy), Peter Strickland (The Duke of Burgundy), Agnieszka Smoczynska (The Lure), Katrin Gebbe (Nothing Bad Can Happen), Can Evrenol (Baskin), Calvin Reeder (The Rambler), Ashim Ahluwalia (Miss Lovely), and Yannis Veslemes (Norway).
