Last year, we received the heartbreaking news that SYFY decided not to order the Kevin Bacon-starring small screen adaptation of "Tremors" to series. The reboot filmed its pilot in 2017, but it was never released to the public, until now...sort of.
As reported by Indiewire, the “Tremors” pilot will have a presence at this year’s ATX Television Festival with a panel that will include “a selection of clips, a live script reading, and conversations with executive producers and cast, including Andrew Miller, Jessica Rhoades, Toks Olagundoye, P.J. Byrne, and Haley Tju.”
Sadly, the site does note that the full pilot will not be shown.
Vincenzo Natali (Splice) was the director of the pilot episode for the series, whic was set to pick up 25 years after the killer Graboid worms nearly destroyed the Nevada town of Perfection.
The ATX Television Festival takes place June 6th-9th, 2019 in Austin, Texas.
