Warner Bros. is shifting things up and has bumped the dates for two highly-anticipated genre film releases, first up is this year's third installment in the Annabelle franchise, that is currently titled Annabelle 3 (at least until we know the official title). It moves from July 3rd, 2019 to June 28th, 2019
In the film, "Determined to keep Annabelle from wreaking more havoc, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the possessed doll to the locked artifacts room in their home, placing her “safely” behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest’s holy blessing. But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target—the Warrens’ ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends."
Then there's Adam Wingard's Godzilla vs. Kong, originally set to release May 2020, now stomping into theaters a few months earlier on March 13th, 2020.
The epic action adventure will pit two of the greatest icons in motion picture history against one another – the fearsome Godzilla and the mighty Kong – with humanity caught in the balance.
"In a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever."
