The "Stranger Things" universe continues to expand with a series of prequel and spinoff novels, beginning earlier this year with Stranger Things: Suspicious Minds and continuing with Stranger Things: Darkness on the Edge of Town. Today we've learned of another prequel novel which tells the backstory of Sadie Sink’s character Max, titled Stranger Things: Runaway Max.
Written by Brenna Yovanoff, the book will document Max Mayfield's journey to Hawkins.

Random House LLC will release Runaway Max on June 4th, 2019, a month before the arrival of Season 3 on Netflix.
