Epic Pictures and DREAD have have picked up the '80s inspired action horror, Black Site, for an April release! It is best described as a mixture of “John Carpenter meets H.P. Lovecraft meets The Raid.”
“When I first heard about Black Site, my imagination went wild at the description. Then, after seeing it, I knew that this was a film that would be perfect for horror audiences and DREAD! Tom Paton is an amazing director who has an incredibly bright future ahead of him and it’s a pleasure and an honor to be a part of that,” said Jonathan Barkan, Dread Central.
In the film, "An elite military unit encounters a supernatural entity, known as The Elder Gods, that forces them into battle against an army from another dimension. They must fight together to defend the Black Site and save the world from ultimate destruction."
Black Site is directed by Tom Paton (Redwood). The film stars Sophia Del Pizzo (Into the Dark), Lauren Ashley Carter (Imitation Girl), and Jessica-Jane Stafford (Dead Ringer).
DREAD will release Black Site on Blu-ray and VOD April 9th, 2019. Check out the trailer and key artwork below.
