Shudder April 2019 Highlights

April Showers? April Fools? For us, the start of the fourth month means only one thing: just six more ‘til October—the only month of the year that really gets us, you know? Yes, we’re Halfway to Halloween so Shudder is celebrating with the streaming premieres of Lizzie and Monster Party (both Shudder Exclusives), four new episodes of "The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs" (which premieres tomorrow, March 29th!) and a collection of the first five films in the Halloween franchise.

Sing it with us now: Six more months to Halloween, Halloween, Halloween...

In addition to the new arrivals mentioned above, other highlights include David Cronenberg's The Fly, James Wan's Dead Silence and the premiere of The Haunted (1991), a TV movie based on an Ed and Lorraine Warren case (the paranormal investigators later depicted in The Conjuring franchise), featuring Sally Kirkland in a Golden Globe-nominated performance. As far as we can tell, it’s never officially been out on DVD or Blu-ray in the States!
