New' Godzilla: King Of The Monsters' TV Spot Teases Seventeen Monsters

Godzilla: King of the Monsters Run TV Spot

Every single teaser, trailer and poster for Michael Dougherty's upcoming Godzilla: King of the Monsters has been nothing short of epic, and this newest TV spot is no exception! We all know that Godzilla will be joined by Ghidorah, Rodan and Mothra in the film, but this teaser hints that there are many more monsters out there, though we're unsure if they'll appear in the film.

Seventeen monsters to be exact. And counting.

The sequel takes place five years after the first film.

"The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance."

Directed by Michael Dougherty from a script by Zach Shields (Krampus, Trick 'r Treat), the film stars Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Charles Dance, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds and Zhang Ziyi.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters will be released in 3D and 2D in select theaters and IMAX on May 31st.
