Weeks back, we learned that Make Hamill will be replacing Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky in Lars Klevberg‘s remake of Child’s Play, and today we've finally gotten our first look at the the killer doll.
Previously, we has only seen a teaser image of the new Buddi doll, and he wasn't actually seen in the teaser trailer, but you can now check out a full image of Chucky below.
It's also been announced that the full trailer will be released this Thursday, April 18th!
The new Child’s Play follows a mother who gives her son a toy doll for his birthday, unaware of its more sinister nature.
Directed by Lars Klevberg, the film stars stars Aubrey Plaza ("Parks and Recreation") as Karen, Emmy and Tony nominee Brian Tyree Henry ("Atlanta") as Mike and Gabriel Bateman (Lights Out) as Andy.
Klevberg directed from Tyler Burton Smith’s (Kung Fury) screenplay. Bear McCreary ("The Walking Dead") will provide the film's score.
You can meet your new Buddi on June 21st, 2019.
