In addition to Shudder's new series "Critters: A New Binge," we recently learned that an all-new Critters movie had also been in the works. Last we heard, Adam Friedlander and Armand Leo (SYFY’s Tremors sequels) were producing the new franchise entry for SYFY, which appears to be directed by Bobby Miller (The Cleanse).
Why are we telling you this tonight? Well, Warner Bros. new movie Critters Attack! has just been rated “R” by the MPAA, and we're assuming that this is the very same project mentioned above.
Exhibitor Relations tells us the film has been rated R for “bloody creature violence.”
