Making a smart and formidable decision, Orion and director Lars Klevberg‘s remake of Child’s Play has cast Mark Hamill as the voice of Chucky, and even though the film hits theaters next month, we've only heard one line of dialogue from Hamill. But this short new promo video includes the aforementioned from the recent trailer, along with a preview of Hamill’s Chucky laugh!
In the contemporary re-imagining of the 1988 horror classic, Karen (Aubrey Plaza), a single mother who gifts her son Andy (Gabriel Bateman) a Buddi doll, is unaware of its more sinister nature.
The cast also includes Beatrice Kitsos, Ty Consiglio and Brian Tyree Henry.
Klevberg directed from Tyler Burton Smith’s (Kung Fury) screenplay. Bear McCreary ("The Walking Dead") will provide the film's score.
Child's Play arrives theaters on June 21st, 2019.
