It was recently revealed that Noah Centineo (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before) will be our new He-Man in the next live-action Masters of the Universe movie, which is being directed by brothers Adam and Aaron Nee (Band of Robbers), and we've now learned that Sony has given the film a March 5th, 2021 release date.
The film will be based on the bestselling He-Man toyline from the 1980s that spawned an animated TV show and aforementioned feature from Cannon Films starring Dolph Lundgren as He-Man and Frank Langella played the villainous Skeletor.
Escape Artists’ Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch, as well as DeVon Franklin are producing, with David S. Goyer executive producing.
Art Marcum & Matt Holloway (Men in Black: International, Iron Man) penned the script, which was drafted by Goyer.
