[Trailer] Nevada's Creepy 'Clown Motel' Has Been Turned Into A Horror Movie

Clown Motel Movie Joseph Kelly

Named "the scariest motel in America" by Roadtrippers, the Clown Motel in Tonopah, Nevada is pure nightmare fuel for those who have a fear of colorful wigs, grease paint and unnervingly cheerful smiles, and it's finally gotten its own horror movie!

The upcoming (and simply titled) Clown Motel stars Ari Lehman (Friday the 13th's Jason Voorhees 1980), Tony Moran (Halloween's Michael Myers 1978) and Martin Klebba (Pirates of the Caribbean, Project X). The film was helmed by award-winning director Joseph Kelly (Bloody Island, Community Service).

“Clown Motel follows a group of ghost hunters returning home from Las Vegas. When they arrive at the Clown Motel, they’re left to discover if it is really abandoned and haunted by the souls of the clowns that once lived there.”

Production and most of post production was completed Fall 2018. The filmmakers are currently raising finishing post-production funds via Indiegogo for the remainder of final touches as they get ready to release worldwide this Summer 2019!

Clown Motel goes straight to DVD from ITN Distribution on June 4th.
