A24 has today released the first trailer for Peter Strickland‘s In Fabric, a horror film about a killer dress, which had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival last September.
In Fabric appears to be inspired by Italian giallo films of the '70s with a blend of witchcraft stitched in.
The film stars Marianne Jean-Baptiste (Homecoming, Broadchurch) as a recently separated lonely woman who visits a London department store in search of a dress that will change her life.
“She’s fitted with a perfect, dark red gown that unleashes a malevolent curse and unstoppable evil, threatening everyone that comes into its path.”
Hayley Squires, Leo Bill, and "Game of Thrones" actress Gwendoline Christie also star.
