Video Explores The Warren Artifact Room Before 'Annabelle Comes Home'

Annabelle Comes Home Warren Artifact Room Experience

James Wan, one of the most important filmmakers in modern horror, has spawned the Saw, Insidious and The Conjuring franchise, with the latter still going strong, churning out multiple spin-offs an big box office numbers. In the first Conjuring film, we were introduced to The Warren Artifact Room, a museum of sorts that housed cursed and haunted artifacts.

This month, Annabelle Comes Home arrives in theaters and with it comes a return to the iconic museum. While the franchise is coming full circle with this film, it's being used as a vehicle to introduce several new characters to the universe, thus creating more spin-off potential.

In a new 360/VR experience released by Warner Bros., you can tour the Warren Artifact Museum with several appearances by the infamous haunted doll. Don't have a VR headset? No worries, you can use your mouse to look around as the video slowly pushes through the museum. The experience also features several scares from the trailer, including the samurai, the monkey and even the Bride. It's rumored that all will be getting their own films in the future.

Gary Dauberman, the screenwriter of the Annabelle films, IT and The Nun, makes his directorial debut with the film, which is produced by Wan and Peter Safran (Aquaman), who has produced all the films in The Conjuring franchise.

"Determined to keep Annabelle from wreaking more havoc, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the possessed doll to the locked artifacts room in their home, placing her “safely” behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest’s holy blessing. But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target—the Warrens’ ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends."

The film stars McKenna Grace (“The Haunting of Hill House") as Judy; Madison Iseman (Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween) as her babysitter, Mary Ellen; and Katie Sarife (“Supernatural”) as troubled friend Daniela; with Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring and Insidious films) and Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring films, Godzilla: King of the Monsters) reprising their roles as Ed and Lorraine Warren.

Dauberman directed the film from a screenplay he wrote, from a story by Dauberman and Wan. Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, Victoria Palmeri, Michael Clear, Michelle Morrissey and Judson Scott served as executive producers.

Annabelle Comes Home on June 26th, 2019.
