Choosing the right birthday theme can be a daunting task for a 3-year-old child. Pokemon or Hello Kitty? Paw Patrol or Disney Princesses? Well, for a young girl named Lucio, the average birthday party just wasn't gonna cut it. Her choice, Corin Hardy's The Nun! Thankfully, her family delivered upon the request, and of course, the party is going viral on Twitter.
"So it was my cousin’s 3rd birthday and instead of having a normal theme she chose this," Lucia's cousin (@dreeaaxo_) tweeted. She later added, "Her friends also participated in the theme."
But what makes @dreeaaxo_'s tweet about her cousin's birthday party even better is the fact that horror master Jordan Peele retweeted it! Approving of Lucia's taste in birthday party themes, Jordan retweeted the photos and captioned it with: "Does she have a Godfather?"
After seeing the tweet, Buzzfeed reached out to Andrea, who explained that Lucia first saw The Nun at her grandmother’s house and insisted on watching the whole thing, and ended up wanting to use the film as inspiration for her birthday party. Her mother approved, whipped up a cake and handmade Valak, with Lucia also dressing up as the titular character.
