Back in April, Neil Marshall (Dog Soldiers, Doomsday) unleashed his gory new take on Hellboy, an R rated monster movie that starred David Harbour ("Stranger Things") in the titular role and Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil) as the film's antagonist, the blood queen Nimue. Sean and I personally really enjoyed the film more than most, and we'll definitely be picking up the Blu-ray next month.
Yes, we've learned this morning that Marshall’s Hellboy will indeed be heading home in July, arriving on Digital July 9th and 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on July 23rd!
Take home Hellboy and delve into his world with exclusive special features, including a three-part documentary, never-before-seen deleted scenes, and more!
In the film, Hellboy is back, and he’s on fire. From the pages of Mike Mignola’s seminal work, this action-packed story sees the legendary half-demon superhero called to the English countryside to battle a trio of rampaging giants. There he discovers The Blood Queen, Nimue, a resurrected ancient sorceress thirsting to avenge a past betrayal. Suddenly caught in a clash between the supernatural and the human, Hellboy is now hell-bent on stopping Nimue without triggering the end of the world.
