Fox Searchlight has found the trailer for Ready or Not, the latest offering from Radio Silence (V/H/S, Southbound).
The film follows a young bride (Samara Weaving) as she joins her new husband’s (Mark O’Brien) rich, eccentric family (Adam Brody, Henry Czerny, and Andie MacDowell) in a time-honored tradition that turns into a lethal game with everyone fighting for their survival.
The game they play is Hide and Seek with a deadly twist, mixed with a horror version of Clue. Weaving ("Ash vs Evil Dead", Mayhem, The Babysitter) also looks like she’s primed to deliver a superstar performance.
Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett directed from a screenplay by Guy Busick and Ryan Murphy.
Ready or Not will be released in theaters on August 23rd.
