If you're a fan of Marcus Nispel’s 2009 remake of Friday the 13th, then you probably already own the "Killer Cut" on Blu-ray, but if you're a glutton for financial punishment or perhaps a Steelbook aficionado, you'll be happy to know that an exclusive Steelbook is on the way from Best Buy.
Mind you, the artwork is pretty lackluster, but you'll be able to purchase Friday the 13th 2009 on Steelbook from Best Buy (in stores and online) on August 27th.
Derek Mears took over the role of Jason in the 2009 film, which grossed nearly $100 million worldwide but sadly, with all of the legal issues plaguing the franchise, never got a sequel. The "Killer Cut" features more gore and is a bit longer than the theatrical cut.
