The original Ghostface mask is back and so is the original voice behind the mask, Roger Jackson, in VH1’s upcoming "Scream: Resurrection," and we’ve got the first clip via EW.
In this clip, which pays tribute to the Scream's iconic opening sequence, Paris Jackson receives a call from Ghostface, who asks the classic question: "What’s your favorite scary movie?
The six-episode season of "Scream: Resurrection" will debut Monday, July 8th, and will run for two hours per night, starting at 9 p.m., through Wednesday, July 10th. Giving horror fans six hours of Ghostface in one week!
Season three centers on Deion Elliot (RJ Cyler), a local star football running back, whose tragic past comes back to haunt him and threaten his hard-earned plans for the future — and the lives of his unlikely group of friends.
The cast also includes Mary J. Blige, Keke Palmer, Tyler Posey, Tyga, Giorgia Whigham, Jessica Sula, C.J. Wallace and Giullian Yao Gioiello.
The new season is executive produced by Queen Latifah, Shakim Compere, Yaneley Arty, Tony DiSanto, Liz Gateley, Marianne Maddalena and Cathy Konrad, with the late, legendary Wes Craven also listed as an executive producer. Brett Matthews ("The Vampire Diaries", "Supernatural") is the showrunner for the third season.
