VH1 has today unleashed a second trailer, a new clip, and several images from their 3-night event "Scream: Resurrection," teasing the Halloween tricks and treats that await when the original Ghostface strikes again.
This second trailer introduces us to the cast of characters at the center of the new season, while the new clip features Keke Palmer’s character watching Rob Zombie’s Halloween and receiving a call from Ghostface, voiced by Roger Jackson! This marks the first time the original Ghostface mask will be used on television.
The six-episode season of "Scream: Resurrection" will debut Monday, July 8th, and will run for two hours per night, starting at 9 p.m., through Wednesday, July 10th.
Season three centers on Deion Elliot (RJ Cyler), a local star football running back, whose tragic past comes back to haunt him and threaten his hard-earned plans for the future — and the lives of his unlikely group of friends.
The cast also includes Mary J. Blige, Keke Palmer, Tyler Posey, Tyga, Giorgia Whigham, Jessica Sula, C.J. Wallace and Giullian Yao Gioiello, with a special appearance from Paris Jackson.
The new season is executive produced by Queen Latifah, Shakim Compere, Yaneley Arty, Tony DiSanto, Liz Gateley, Marianne Maddalena and Cathy Konrad, with the late, legendary Wes Craven also listed as an executive producer. Brett Matthews ("The Vampire Diaries", "Supernatural") is the showrunner for the third season.
