As promised last week, the full trailer for Rob Zombie's 3 from Hell has been unleashed this morning, featuring two minutes of brand new footage and giving some details on the film's plot.
The film looks to pick up right where The Devil's Rejects left off, with Otis, Spaulding, and Baby somehow surviving the hail of bullets. They supposedly make a "Satanic recovery" and end up in prison. Of course, the trio inevitably escapes, at least Otis, Baby, and Richard Brake's Foxy do...
I'm definitely curious about 3 From Hell and how Zombie will continue the Manson Family tone and aesthetic, but I'm also rather skeptical. In any case, the Firefly clan is back with even more nihilistic violence in 2019!
In addition to the returning Sheri Moon Zombie, Bill Moseley and Danny Trejo, the cast also includes Kevin Jackson, Richard Brake, Wade Williams, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Clint Howard, Pancho Moler, Emilio Rivera, Daniel Roebuck, David Ury, Sean Whalen, Dee Wallace, Bill Oberst Jr., Richard Riehle, Dot-Marie Jones and Tom Papa. Barry Bostwick and Chaz Bono have both been confirmed for cameos.
3 from Hell has been rated "R" for “strong sadistic violence, language throughout, sexual content, graphic nudity, and drug use.”
Lionsgate and Saban Films are unleashing Zombie’s 3 From Hell in nearly 900 select movie theaters on September 16th, 17th and 18th, 2019 through Fathom’s Digital Broadcast Network.
