It was announced back in April that AMC is expanding the world of "The Walking Dead" with a second spinoff series (the first being "Fear the Walking Dead"), which is said to feature two young female protagonists and focus on the first generation to come-of-age in the now established undead apocalypse.
Alexa Mansour, Nicolas Cantu, Hal Cumpston, Aliyah Royale and Annet Mahendru have all signed on to lead the cast.
We don't really know much about the series other than the aforementioned direction, but it was revealed at Comic-Con ver the weekend that Jordan Vogt-Roberts will direct the series pilot.
Vogt-Roberts most recently directed Kong: Skull Island and made his feature debut back in 2013 with The Kings of Summer.
The 10-episode first season of the currently untitled series is expected to arrive sometime in 2020.
