The second season of David Fincher and Netflix's "Mindhunter" will be hitting the streaming service on August 16th, and the streaming service has unleashed the very first teaser trailer this week. Watch it below.
The season will center around "The Atlanta child murders," which were a series of killings that took 1979-1981 and left 28 children, teenagers, and adults killed. All of the victims were African-American.
Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany return as FBI agents trying to solve the case. In Season 2 they seek the help of two infamous lunatics: Charles Manson and the Son of Sam.
Damon Herriman has been cast in the role of Charles Manson for "Mindhunter", coincidently the same actor playing Manson in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
