Vinegar Syndrome Is Releasing The "Gore Cut" Of 'Tammy And The T-Rex' On Blu-ray!

Vinegar Syndrome Tammy and the T-Rex Bluray

This past June, Cinepocalypse Film Fest in Chicago screened a very rare 35mm print of the newly-unearthed "gore cut" of 1994’s Tammy and the T-Rex, a ultra-violent and "R" rated version of the film that I was lucky enough to experience.

After the screening, I spoke with Vinegar Syndrome at their booth about the film and they kept dropping hints that they'd be bringing the film to home video this year. Well, they weren't lying, as the release has been confirmed today!

Vinegar Syndrome‘s new 4K restoration of the rated "R" version of the film is playing at Fantastic Fest, and is getting a Blu-ray release just in time for Black Friday!

Vinegar Syndrome promised on Twitter, "Blu-ray (of course) will be available during our Black Friday sale in November…it will be worth the wait!"

In the Stewart Raffill-directed Tammy and the T-Rex, starring Denise Richards as Tammy and an animatronic T-Rex, "An evil scientist implants the brain of Michael, a murdered high school student, into an Tyrannosaurus. He escapes, wreaks vengeance on his high school tormentors and is reunited with his sweetheart Tammy."

The late Paul Walker also starred in the wonderfully bizarre film!
