This Little Monsters is a zombie-comedy from director Abe Forsythe, and was a massive hit at Sundance earlier this year, with NEON and Hulu snagging the rights shortly thereafter. A U.S. release date for the film has yet to be announced, but it’ll be arriving in UK and Irish cinemas on November 15th.
Ahead of the film's release, Altitude Films has unleashed the Red Band trailer today, which can be viewed below.
The film stars Lupita Nyong’o (Black Panther, Jordan Peele’s Us), Josh Gad (Beauty and the Beast), and Alexander England (Alien: Covenant).
"Little Monsters follows Dave (England), a washed-up musician who volunteers to chaperone his nephew’s kindergarten class field trip after taking a serious liking to the fearless schoolteacher, Miss Caroline (Nyong’o). Dave’s intentions are complicated by the presence of the world’s most famous kids’ show personality and competition for Miss Caroline’s affections, Teddy McGiggle (Gad). One thing none of them bargained for, however, is a sudden zombie outbreak. Will Dave rise to the occasion and have a chance at Miss Caroline’s heart, or will the zombies get there first?"
Little Monsters is produced by Keith and Jess Wu Calder’s Snoot Entertainment (You’re Next, The Guest, Blair Witch) and Bruna Papandrea’s Made Up Stories.
