Once you open the box, you can't escape it...
We've already gotten our fair share of creepy doll movies this year with Annabelle Comes Home and the Child's Play remake, and we'll be receiving a hefty dose of clown horror when IT: Chapter Two hits theaters on September 6th. But there's another film on the way that combines both tropes into a single film, writer/director Lawrence Fowler's (Curse of the Witch’s Doll) The Jack in the Box, and we've got the film's trailer for you today.
The trailer notes that the film is "coming soon", so we don't yet have a solid release date.
In The Jack in the Box, "When a vintage Jack-in-the-box is un-earthed and opened, it’s new owners soon have reason to believe the creepy clown doll within has a life of it’s own."
The film stars Ethan Taylor, Robert Nairne, Lucy-Jane Quinlan, Philip Ridout, and Darrie Gardner.
