As we learned at the end of the second season, Netflix's "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" will see Sabrina Spellman entering the fiery depths of hell in order to fetch her boyfriend.
For those who need a quick refresher, Season 2 of the Netflix original series ended with the half-human, half-witch teen telling her crew she planned to journey down to hell to rescue her boyfriend Nick (Gavin Leatherwood).
Creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa teased in an interview with TheWrap during the Television Critics Association press tour over the weekend, "I think it’s safe to say that we are going to Hell, yes. We’re going to Hell. It’s very fun. It’s very fun. It’s dangerous, but it’s really fun."
Sadly, it doesn't seem likely that the new season will be arriving in time for Halloween this year, as Aquirre-Sacasa told the site, "I don’t actually know [when Season 3 will premiere]. I don’t think we’d be ready for Halloween. I have no idea, not a clue. We are writing Episode 8, we are starting to shoot Episode 6, so we’re nearing the halfway mark. And that’s been going great. I’m really proud of those episodes. They’re really, really fun."
When asked if we'll ever see a crossover between "Chilling Adventures" and The CW's "Riverdale" (both of which are based on Archie comics) he stated: "Listen, I’m so open for it and it feels like we have conversation about it all the time. I still would love for it to happen."
