Djimon Hounsou Replaces Brian Tyree Henry In 'A Quiet Place 2'

Djimon Hounsou A Quiet Place 2

Due to a scheduling conflict, Deadline reports today, Brian Tyree Henry (Child’s Play) will no longer be starring in A Quiet Place 2. Instead, Djimon Hounsou will be taking his place in the sequel.

John Krasinski returns to the director's chair for the follow-up to his 2018 hit.

Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe will reprise their roles from the first film, with Cillian Murphy (28 Days Later) joining them this time around.

Krasinski wrote the follow-up for Paramount and recently stated that he doesn’t see it quite as a sequel so much as an expansion on the world he created last year.

"I think that we’re going to get a few answers to the origin of where and how this whole thing happened," Brian Tyree Henry told Indiewire in June, "I think that people want to know that. But I think you’re just going to see another side of it…more of humanity that survived this thing in this next story."

We’ll venture back to A Quiet Place on March 20th, 2020.
