Anthony Michael Hall To Play Tommy Doyle In 'Halloween Kills'

Anthony Michael Hall to Play Tommy Doyle Halloween Kills

It was announced back in July that the storyline from David Gordon Green's Halloween would be continuing with Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends in 2020 and 2021, respectively. Following the news that James Jude Courtney and Nick Castle will be donning the Michael mask yet again, it's now been reported (via Variety) that that Anthony Michael Hall has been cast to play Tommy Doyle in Halloween Kills.

For those you who don't know, Tommy Doyle is the little boy that Laurie Strode babysat alongside Lindsey Wallace on the night he came home in 1978. Tommy warned Laurie that the boogeyman was lurking in the shadows on that fateful Halloween night, and of course, she didn't listen.

In the original Halloween, Tommy was played by Brian Andrews, and Paul Rudd played a grown-up version of the character in Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers. Collider had previously reported that Rudd was offered to reprise the role, but he had to turn it down due to a scheduling conflict with Ghostbusters 2020.

In addition to Castle and Courtney, Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, and Andi Matichak will also reprise their roles in the sequel.

Green will once again direct and co-wrote the Halloween Kills script with Danny McBride and Scott Teems, and the Halloween Ends script with McBride, Paul Brad Logan and Chris Bernier.

Blumhouse is once again teaming up with Universal Pictures, Trancas International Films, and Miramax to bring the new Halloween movies to life.

John Carpenter is once again involved and will be providing brand new scores for both films.
