Kyle Richards Will Return As Lindsey Wallace In 'Halloween Kills'

We all know that Laurie Strode survived the night that he came home back in 1978, but so did Tommy Doyle and Lindsey Wallace, the two children she babysat. Well, we'll soon find out if all three can once again evade death by the hands of Haddonfield's boogeyman. Following the news earlier this week that Anthony Michael Hall will play a grown-up Tommy in Halloween Kills, we've now learned that Kyle Richards will reprise her role as Lindsey in the follow-up to 2018's Halloween.

The report comes via HalloweenMovies.com, who shared the press release details and a comment from producer Malek Akkad.

"No stranger to the genre, Richards previous roles include (in addition to Halloween) the horror flicks Eaten Alive (1976), The Car (1977) and The Watcher in the Woods (1980), although fans of reality TV may more recognize her from her appearances in "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills", in which she portrays herself. The 50-year old actress, producer and author joins the previously announced Anthony Michael Hall (in the role of Tommy Doyle, taking over for Brian Andrews) and series star and lead Jamie Lee Curtis as Final Girl Laurie Strode in director Green’s sequel to his hit film, last year’s recalibration, Halloween."

"We couldn’t be happier, and are so excited that Kyle is coming home to her Halloween roots," said Halloween series producer Malek Akkad of Richard’s casting.

In the original Halloween, Tommy was played by Brian Andrews, and Paul Rudd played a grown-up version of the character in Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers. Collider had previously reported that Rudd was offered to reprise the role, but he had to turn it down due to a scheduling conflict with Ghostbusters 2020.

Halloween Kills will release in theaters on October 16th, 2020, followed by Halloween Ends on October 15th, 2021.

Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney will return as Michael Myers, with Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, and Andi Matichak also reprising their roles.

Green will once again direct and co-wrote the Halloween Kills script with Danny McBride and Scott Teems, and the Halloween Ends script with McBride, Paul Brad Logan and Chris Bernier.

Blumhouse is once again teaming up with Universal Pictures, Trancas International Films, and Miramax to bring the new Halloween movies to life.

John Carpenter is once again involved and will be providing brand new scores for both films.
