Following an insanely successful Indiegogo campaign, Art the Clown will be returning in Damien Leone's sequel Terrifier 2, and this time he will cause even more gory mayhem as the campaign's stretch goal promising more carnage was met and then some!
Today we have a casting update for the film, as the official Terrifier 2 Facebook page has announced that Lauren LaVera (Marvel's "Iron Fist", Clinton Road) has signed on to star alongside David Howard Thornton (Art the Clown) as the sequel's female lead.
They state: "We're thrilled to welcome this real life badass Lauren LaVera into our psychotic family as the lead opposite Art the Clown in Terrifier 2!! Can't wait for you guys to see the epic insanity we have in store!"
In Terrifier 2, after being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to Miles County where he must hunt down and destroy a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night. As the body count rises, the siblings fight to stay alive while uncovering the true nature of Art's evil intent.
