Watch Vin Diesel Become The Valiant Comics Super Soldier 'Bloodshot' [Trailer]

Bloodshot Official Trailer Vin Diesel

Based on the bestselling comic book, Dave Wilson will bring the Valiant Comics cinematic universe to life with the Vin Diesel-starring sci-fi actioner Bloodshot, and today brings the release of both the film's official and international trailers.

In the film, Vin Diesel stars as Ray Garrison, a soldier recently killed in action and brought back to life as the superhero Bloodshot by the Rising Spirit Technologies corporation. With an army of nanotechnology in his veins, he’s an unstoppable force –stronger than ever and able to heal instantly. But in controlling his body, the company has sway over his mind and memories, too. Now, Ray doesn’t know what’s real and what’s not – but he’s on a mission to find out.

Sam Heughan, Guy Pearce, Lamorne Morris, Eiza González, and Toby Kebbell also star.

Eric Heisserer (Arrival) co-wrote the film with Jeff Wadlow. The character of Bloodshot was created back in 1992 by Kevin VanHook, Don Perlin, and Bob Layton, and ran for 110 issues with over 7 million copies sold.

You can check out both trailers below. Even if you're not a fan of comic book films, I recommend watching just to see Diesel get his face blown off, only to have it instantly repaired by nanotechnology.

Bloodshot hits theaters on February 21st, 2020.
